LNG Development Advice

The Minstry of Energy in Iran experienced difficulties in supplying gas to its combined cycle power plants during the winter period. The Ministry decided to study the possibility of storing LNG near the powerplants during the year and using it as fuel in winter. IPA advised the Minsitry of Energy in Iran on the cots of LNG value chain (including LNG liquefication, storage and regasification to natural gas) to assist in the assessment of project feasibility.
