EU Allocation Methodologies for National Allocation Plans under EU ETS

IPA provided expert witness advice on EU allocation methodologies for National Allocation Plans under the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS) for an international industrial client involved in a judicial review process. IPA provided background information to the Client’s legal representatives on EU ETS allocation methodologies and the process of consultation and development of the UK allocation methodology in particular. IPA also reviewed all the relevant documentation regarding the Client’s case. The final deliverable was a formal Expert Witness statement in support of the application for judicial review.
