The IPA Energy + Water Economics monthly newsletter “The Pace of Change in Great Britain” provides a regular update of the major consultations and announcements that impact on the development of the Great Britain wholesale and retail electricity market.  It covers consultations, announcements and publications from Government, the Regulator (Ofgem), the Transmission System Operator and Distribution Network Operators; as well as modifications to the industry governing codes including the Balancing and Settlement Code (BSC) and the Connection and Use of System Code (CUSC).  We also identify announcements by the European Commission and other bodies which may be relevant to the sector.

The newsletter will assist market participants to keep track of policy developments and industry changes which will affect their business.
