Natural Gas Strategy & Master Plan

IPA Energy + Water Economcis won a project under the EU-China Energy and Environmental Programme (EEP) to assist the Oil and Gas division (OGD) of the Energy Bureau of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) with the promotion of the use of natural gas in China and the development of the gas market. The project involved the development of a Gas Master Plan for China and a number of capacity building activities. The purpose of this assigment was to support the development of a natural gas market that is; open; well functioning; regulated and competitive; attractive for European investors; and generates an optimal utilisation of China's domestic gas reserves.
