Energy-from-Waste Plant Economics

IPA Energy + Water Economics provided an assessment of the economic viability of a proposed energy-from-waste palnt, including a breakdown of the components of delivered electricity prices and the forecast revenue streams available, guidance on power purchase agreements, an outline of some of the suppliers likely to be interested in purchasing electricity from an EfW plant and advice on obtaining a connection to the relevanty distribution network. Additionally, IPA analysed the market for alternative uses of the biogas produced in the anaerobic digestion process including selling the gas as vehicle fuel of selling it direct to the gas transmission network.
