Regulatory Reform

For the World Bank, IPA Energy + Water Economics is currently undertaking a review of recent developments in infrastructure reform, regulation and private sector participation in the Middle East and North Africa region.  We are taking stock of the current position of each of the telecoms, electricity, water and sanitation, and transport sectors; identifying the policy and regulatory challenges facing the region; and considering the scope for a regional regulatory forum to support the ongoing process of reform.
