Transmission Access Policy

IPA Energy + Water Economics assisted the UK Government with a review of Transmission Access Arrangements in order to establish whether the existing arrangements for generators to connect and use the British electricity transmission network was consistent with the Government’s policy of supporting electricity production from renewable sources.  We modelled the effects of the existing arrangements, considered the implications of changing them and proposed policy solutions.
