Financing of the GMR Energy (Singapore) - GMR and Lenders

IPA was first engaged by GMR Energy (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. and later the lenders to GMR to support their power market due diligence for the 800MW LNG-fired CCGT project on Jurong Island in Singapore, originally known as the Island Power Project.  We provided an independent review and critique of the modelling assumptions incorporated in the economic feasibility study of the Project, explored the impact of additional modelling sensitivities, supported and facilitated the due diligence process by providing independent assessment of future market developments in Singapore.  The USD821 million financing closed successfully in July 2011.
