Gas Supply Due Diligence

IPA were hired by GDF Suez Energy, investors in Bahrain's Al Dur IWPP, to carry out a review of potential gas supplies for the project on behalf of US Exim Bank and other lenders to the Project. IPA analysed Bahrain's demand for power and potable water, its current gas reserves and assessed future domestic production and import options by pipeline from Iran, Qatar and by LNG. IPA then advised on the timing and likely pricing of the future gas imports to Bahrain.
