Specialist Services - Energy Market Modelling

IPA maintains an extensive suite of models and databases of the UK, European and International energy markets. These models are used to analyse and support investment decisions, to design and test market structures, to evaluate the bulk purchase of electricity and hedging of electricity price risk, for short and long term price forecasting, and for optimising the operation of individual or groups of thermal, hydro or mixed power stations. The Company remains at the forefront of modelling capability in the European market.
